This is the second load of wire and its a pain in the A.. The weight will be about 1200 pounds, torn shirt,pants even cut arms from the barb wire. We added some heavy rims and other #1 iron to at least get it to 1800 pounds. I think the scrap price will be $195 a ton less $35 in gas. Total time invested 3hrs....aa

breaking down to 50 per hr aint a bad day. would it be easier to use bolt cutters and chop it into managable pieces? You're doing pretty good on the scrap out of that place, hows the better metals doing?

#2 iron is still going for $235 a ton
 

Maybe i spoke to soon the load came to 1400 lbs and the price went up again. :o My cousin and i split $180 after fuel costs. ;D
