Found this a few years ago while stomping a field..I know its not an artifact but I've tried posting on other forums and they suck at responses...I thought I ask you guys..yal are smart and maybe can help me! Let me know what you think! Thanks!

I almost had a complete set of buffalo nickels. One for each year they were made. What do you want to know about it?
 

Its not a nickle! Its huge! Why was it made? how old is it? What was the point of it? Look how big it is compared to a penny!

They're sold in museum shops and other places like that. I don't know when they were first made but you can still buy them today for $5 or so. They come in all denominations and are all about that side. Obviously that's a very strange field find.
 

Some similar in crane machines at fairs years ago? Had to acquire "choice" metal washer to claim. If faint memory correct around 40 years ago.
