Over the years I've come to learn that Road side Gem Mines (some are nothing more then tourist traps) while others are very relyable. Case in point.. Gem Mountain, Spruce Pine, NC has a great setup and I've noticed that they allong with others place these so called stones ontop of their buckets to intice buyers when sluicing..
However.. Not all is what it seems.. This somewhat Aquamarine looking stone is in fact a glass blowers slag.. So don't be fooled into thinking your getting soemthing when it's not.
