I've been a bartender for over 20 years at various high volume nightclubs, and I've come to the conclusion, Cats are better than people. Period.

Nice little Kitty! You probably will not receive too many replies from your post though. I turned into a cat person when I was 15 after finding an emmaciated stray begging for food one day. Lived 20 years. I love dogs too, I have had plenty of them. There is something untangable about a cat as a pet, I guess the Egyptians understood. They are fascinating and remain one of the top predators. The lovers of them: Winston Churchill, Teddy Roosevelt, Isaac Newton, Mark Twain; who's daughter once said something to this effect, "The difference between Papa and Mamma is, that Mamma loves morals and Papa loves cats." The haters: Serial Killers (you need practice), Nep Bonaparte, Obama, Hitler, Eisenhower (surprising), the Taliban (they have been known to kill the almost extinct snow leopard for food). Dogs are great and I cried many times for all of mine when we put them down. I went through three dogs, one after the other before my kitty died. She died around twenty. I never thought it would effect me the way it did, boy was I a mess. Your in for a treat though. Congrats!
