Not a ring but what is it.

Anyone know what this is? Found on a Florida beach. It is about 3/4ths of an inch long.

That looks like ceramic inlays. I've found lots of similarly constructed bracelet dressings, charms, and trinkets, they are common in school playgrounds.

I think you're right perhaps! It's too small to be a ring, on the ring sizer it's just about a size 1 but just under that. The inside diameter is 10 mm. I believe it is bronze or brass and the green coloring and red coloring on it are what's left of the corrosion stuck to it that I have not yet gotten off of it.

I'm going to lie and say line guide off an old reel. Something like this.....



The two humps on the bottom would allow it to rock back and forth as you reeled the line in. Still looking for a match.
This reel is circa 1912.
