So I've had these two cents set aside for awhile now. I know next to nothing about pennies, so hopefully someone can shed some light if these are any sorts of errors or just PMD. I know the pics aren't the greatest so hopefully TNet can help me out.

First one is a 1983 cent that looks to have the copper cladding coming off both the obverse and reverse. I'm thinking PMD on this but wanted to make sure?

The second is a 1930 wheat that looks to have the "zero" digit filled in in the date. Worth anything? PMD?

Thanks for looking!

The 83 definitely damage. Looks to have had a chemical react to it. Can't really make out the 1930, but it's either really worn or a die chip in the zero.

First coin = two dissimilar metals in a slightly conductive environment (near saltwater atmosphere?) = battery = corrosion.

Hey guys thanks for the opinions. I tried to get a couple better pics of the 1930 wheat:

Looks like a filled die. Very slight premium in that condition.

I believe die chip. The zero wouldn't be visible if it's a filled die. Remember, the date is recessed into the die.

Thanks for the replies guys, I believe it is likely a die chip as well. Neat find I didn't expect to see!
