Went to the in laws house day before yesterday and found a couple of clad coins and a cool perfume bottle. No one knew anything about the bottle but it looks like a tester to me. Who knows. Pics aren't great but thanks for looking. WH

On the perfume bottle it says Paris and the name is Weil.

Oh and the most important! My mother-in-law said when they were children(less than 10) they would sit in the front yard and plant quarters to make money trees grow. She and her 2 sisters are in their early 60s. So possible silver. Going to check it out today. Can't wait

My grandmother told me the same thing about her sister. They are in their late 70's 80's. I think these were dimes but they were mercs for sure! I need to hit that up soon. She still lives in the same place. :laughing7:

Nice. Makes me wonder how many people did this. Good luck

Sounds like that money tree is about to bloom. :)

I never planted one of those. But, I did bury a time capsule in our backyard. I was about 10. I remember putting one of each denomination so it would make someone happy in the future. I have completely forgotten where.

I used one of those tall, thin olive jars. With a screw cap. It had a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half and I recall a silver certificate dollar bill. Wasn't I a lil sweety? LOL

HH!
