Still , fun!

Yes indeed, releventchair, It always is!
For a few short seconds I imagined I had a CW relic.
Win or Lose There's not much in the world I'd rather be doing than metal detecting.
Nick

I can see how that would fool me for a second :laughing7:

The nitro moment when the eyes are seeing something, and the brain is saying something else. (And both are wrong)
Still you got out to play.

It still tries to fool me when I look at the photo, bologna 321. :laughing7:

Yes, pepperj, we often like to see what we want to see. Plus I've cleared out a bit more trash for the next time out there!

What was that Wide World of Sports Saying?? the Triumph of winning. The agony of defeat? Keep being Persistent:headbang:!

The eyes see what the heart wants...Can't tell you how many times I've had that kind of experience. Next time.

Well this was disappointing...

I watch much too many metal detecting videos. :laughing7:

Thought I might have a Box Plate until I cleaned it off.
CL&P is our local utility company and it's aluminum. :BangHead:

Nick

Great recovery, Nick! Since CL&P no longer exists, (now called Eversource, at least for the time being) your find qualifies as a collectible... or it will someday.
dts

PS - Eversource is an ironic name for a power company since the number of our storm-related power outages have increased and the power restoration response has dropped off dramatically.

Yes I remember that so well, TimberCrack..."The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat." I can still visualize that ski jumper having a 'yard sale' at the bottom of the ramp...:o

Yes, Silvermonkey I think the heart wants Box Plates! Each hole we dig is that big Next Time.

So true, dts. After the less than stellar response with last big storm we were all calling them Ever-Scarce.
Hmmm...a CL&P collectible! :laughing7:
