Northern Wisconsin Agates

If you are a rockhound and plan on being in northern Wisconsin. Check out the Lake Superior region. There are tons and tons of agates there to be picked up. I used to go there with friends, who were serious geological enthusiasts. They taught me so many things about rocks and common geology. My family and I are planning a trip up north next year to visit the area. A major gold belt and diamonds are supposed to be in the area as well.
