Hello I am newbie here and I would like to share my experience about treasures left by the japanese during world war 2. We are working on a dig site right now and we are 48ft now and we have seen a lot of water markers such as sting rays, happy fish, budha images and crabs

This is what we have found and what we've encountered so far, we did not use metal detectors, we just follow thru all the markers and we have one of the best decoder on our team right now, we are group of engrs, from electrical, civil, mechanical and aviation. We are working on a very remove area that was used to be a japanese camp in northern cebu philippines.

Hello and welcome. That's really cool and I wish you luck. I've been to Cebu and remember the first and most important sentence for a traveler there- "Nasaan ang comfort room?" 🤣

Oh, cool. When was that? Yeah currently we are working on one digsite right now, we've been thinking if John Casey's geo scan is legit, what do you think? Speaking of cebu what was your best experience here aside from finding a comfort room haha 😂

It was about 5 years ago and the best experience was visiting a waterfall and swimming at the base of it. I also enjoyed riding on the tricycles and jeep/bus things that are decorated. I'm not familiar with the John Casey thing so I can't share an opinion on that, unfortunately. But best of luck to you guys.

So your name is Magie?

Nice name. So Magie what brought you to the world of treasure hunting?
Thank you. A guy did a pretty simple one where we were stationed back in 2019 to promote local businesses. Five treasures were hidden in them. With me (8 years old) doing the research and my father driving me around I found the largest, $1000, and fell in love with hunting, especially after someone introduced me to cryptology. A couple of years later he took me to the Rockies to search for the Fenn treasure and I’ve been doing it ever since.

That sounds a lot of math 🫣. When you went here in the Philippines, was it a vacation or a treasure exploration? Are you in EU or in US? Do you used metal detectors or you hire someone for satellite scanning?

It was a vacation. My dad was stationed in Asia and we went to see him. We traveled to the Philippines, Korea, Indonesia, and Japan. I’m in the USA and saving for my first metal detector. This will be a new kind of treasure hunting for me.
