Hello I've just started and was wondering if any one knew of any good stories and treasure hunts in the area there is an old templar bath close by an ive tried researching on the subject but not really come to any good information. I'm basically doing this for 1. The thrill of the hunt 2. To get my friends kids outside and interested in something that isn't TV
So if any one knows of any good information on where i would start looking templar settlement info or any good stories to tell the kids. Cheers

You live in an incredible place. There is so much history around you and get ready, you will be finding some old and interesting things. Not everything will be Sutton Hoo or a Saxon hoard, but there is untold material still out there. Your area historically was important before the Saxons invaded. There was all sorts of goings on during the Briton and Pict period. Those artifacts will be deeper, but I bet you amaze yourself with what you find. Good luck ...
