I don't like to download at a site i know nothing about .Those sites can mess up a computer..… Is there a reason you can not tell in a sentence what it is about.? Treasure , hunting . camping , panning ?

Why don't you offer to get this sent to members for a fee of course. I would be willing to purchase it, if it was a interest to metal detecting or treasure

LagoonRiver's Shop Announcement
At Lagoon River you'll find treasure hunting stories designed to inspire discovery. A lot of what you'll read in these stories revolves around true events and real history, perhaps some of the information helping someone on their own road to discovery. And don't overlook The Keeper of the Secret Books, this being a series of short stories with each one actually holding clues to real treasures that some lucky readers can recover without ever leaving the comfort of their home.

This is what I do, I research possible sources of discovery and then I put this information into short stories that are designed to motivate and to inspire. I do this because everyone should experience adventure and the chance for discovery.

My own life has provided me with many adventures and many discoveries. I can't imagine not having experienced these things. For this reason, all of my stories are presented in simple PDF format for easier downloading and easier access. I hope you enjoy what I've written and I hope they serve to inspire readers on their own roads to discovery.

North End

Is there a fortune hidden away somewhere in the New Mexico mountains? North End is the telling of a treasure story that you'll have to judge for yourself. According to the source the treasure was there some 50 years ago, the source itself providing something of a mystery. According to the story, somewhere in those mountains there resides the site of an old lodge and some old Spanish ruins. What are the possibilities? Approx 18 pages, large print.

Note: This is a PDF file download.

Sample text:

I can't tell you how paranoid I became in the following days and weeks. Each time a vehicle came up the lane I held it in suspect, each time a new face entered the lodge I was instantly on guard and quietly suspicious of their reasons for visiting. This is what starts to happen when one must begin protecting a dark secret, not a single moment is allowed to pass relaxed and unnoticed. It wasn't long before I desired no guest at all and by winter's end I had all but decided to shut the resort down for a while.

Over the course of the next two years I traveled about from time to time, the condition of the lodge and cabins slowly falling into disrepair. Everything I had done to protect my business had actually turned about to destroy it, and yet I still needed it to exist. I found that the longer I stayed away from the lodge the harder it became for me to return, and yet I knew I must, at least for a while. I was torn, my life always straddling that proverbial barbwire fence.

Ok You got my interest, I will always be in trying to help someone find a treasure. The thrill is in the hunt, You all heard that before, but I find it to be true. Lots of the silver coins I find metal detecting I give away to friends. its nice to see their faces when I do this. And the questions that follow are fun to answer. For me its the hunt, most definitely.... Sgt. Tee

I'll also be publishing Ais Plunder, which is about actual events on Florida's East coast that resulted in millions of dollars of Spanish treasure being scattered and hidden with little record of it ever having been recovered. This text contains several first hand accounts. Only about 13 pages.

I'll also be publishing "Connexions", which presents a pretty interesting theory in regards to the Beale Pamphlet mystery. No doubt these deposits were real and that their origin was the Texas region. This one is about 40 pages.

You can PM me or write to my Email, if you are going to sell these pamphlets or books as I am interested:

Any of our members who have things of this nature I am interested. I probably will never be able to hunt gold or treasure but I like reading about it

My biggest move for me will be detecting a beach, never did it in the over 20 years of detecting. Once we are free of our dogs we are planning to travel around a bit. Right now we are tied down. I have a sister that lives in long island and I hope to metal detect Jones beach when I go to visit her. I know you need a permit and I have to investigate that option. I sold my DFX and I want to Thank Treasure Net for that. This by far is the best metal detecting forum on the net. Even its members, are very helpful. So I have my MXT and XLT now. I am thinking the MXT will do a better job on the beach. I have the Double D 6&10 loop, but not on the MXT yet
