North Alabama gold

I live in N AL and have heard of a Plantation Home in Limestone Co. that is supposed to have buried Confederate gold somewhere on the property. The home was auctioned about a year ago and the man who bought it has since died. I don't know who built the house or where the gold is supposed to be. It was supposedly buried by the Confederates to hide it from the Union during the Civil War. Anybody that has ever heard of this,please reply. Thanks
