Did some R & I on this; It was in Chesapeake, Va. on the Elizabeth River... Bruce Station Bridge (Hampton Road History). SOME of those ppl killed COULD have been from the Weyanoke (Tidewater Tribe of "Indians"); a MIXED race of native, black, white ppl with "dark skin" like MELUNGEONS of SW Virginia. NO info of train "recovery".
