Noob from San Antonio area - Hello!

Hello and happy to find you all! I’m Tripp, 63, from the far NE side of San Antonio. Just got back into MD after 15 years. Using a Vanquish now, Manticore arriving soon. Been out three times so far this week and found maybe six coins (zinc, clad), and slowly getting back into things. Building up stamina and neck muscles is the biggest current challenge. No silver yet, but damned determined. Please forgive my many dumb questions about to come your way! 🙂

The old Wilford Hall Medical Center at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland is being torn down. Once the flagship of Air Force medicine, the facility has sat vacant for years. Now officials are working to preserve its history.
