No yard sales for me for two weekends

Yes, i am happy about it. I am going on vacation with my wife. She turns the big _ _ in October. I turned that old a few years ago, no big deal, except the hot showers, in the morning, last longer.

I am going to stop at every antique store I see and maybe a bank or two to do some coin roll hunting if my wife doesn't wack up the side of my head.

I know a guy that does beach hunting with a waterproof metal detector. He got a weird sound and it took several tries with his long handled scoop, but he came up with an Iphone. It was inside two leaky Zip-Loc baggies along with $25 in cash.
He said it was an older model Iphone. What is an Iphone worth if he gets it working?

Also, several months ago, I went to a bank and got $100 in half dollar coins. I found two 90% and one 40% Kennedy's.... What's your average? What do you do with the remainder of half dollars?

I used to be very active and have found well over 1000 silver coins at banks for face value. Most I sell to feed the silver habit. safe deposit box for the balance. But, now I mostly do yard sales. Open banks and yardsales have about the same hours on saturdays.

Well I got back from vacation 3 days ago. Boss left a lot of work for me to do.

I rented a car 3 out of 7 days, saw several YARDSALE signs but it was a week day and I knew some lazy SOB never pulled them down. I brought along $250 just for yardsale and antique stores. I brought back $250

I saw one place that had a "collectable & antique" sign, I went in and nothing but yardsale junk.
