Drove past this sidewalk tear out on my way to a job, stopped on my way back. Total of two sidewalk slabs removed, maybe 12 feet total but it produced another wheatie & a nice Mercury. which is my 15th silver coin of 2014 :-)

Great job! Saved them from being lost forever, most likely!

Good thing you stopped. Nice finds.

WTG, nice amount of silver in a few weeks, your ahead of me this year.

Your right, I have found nothing in some really good spots and then literally found silver in the last place I would even think of looking.

I dug a 1920 Mercury dime at a hard hit park and it was 2 inches from the curb next to an asphalt road. Everyone told me that there wasn't anything left to dig.

I got permission from this home owner today. Old neighborhood, huge double corner lot. I'm hoping it was the neighborhood play yard back in the day

your right - I hit an old colonial fort area - came upon a huge area of solid rock - about 30 by 50 yards - there was a small area about 2 feet by a foot in a crevice
in the rocks - about 2 inches of soil - went over it with a quick swing as I walked to get to another area - got a hit - ended up being a KG copper
so no spot to small
