oh sorry its the ship telegraph and the silver horse i think.not sure what the horse is but sure its silver.

thanks all,the camera was 1 dollar you do not like the bone handled knife jersy?someone in ny is interested in my horse but really do not know what it is yet myself, anyone ever seen one, thanks

Thats actually not a bad price, if it actually weighs 8 ounces. Looks heavier to me. Have you weighed it?

hey jerseyben,no i do not have a scale.but that is 119.00 more then i paid for it.it is hollow,i seem to think it is a creamer,a cow something like this is going for 1800.00.so i really do not want to mess this one up.been looking for the hallmarks all morning think it is really old because the guy said it was painted black at one time,or he was just playing dumb.

You know what I didnt even think about resale. My mind immediately went to scrap.

sterling cow creamer | eBay

You might be right. Could be worth much more. Some others on here are pretty good with hallmarks and should be by shortly to help you out further.

i think about scrap also thats why i bought it and the 100 pound brass ship telegraph, that i just found out what to call.

See that is even funnier because I immediately thought "scrap the horse save the ship telegraph". Ultimately, I think both items will be worth much more than scrap. Nice scores!

thanks jerseyben, the telegraph cost me the most.40.00 dollars

better picture of hallmarks, notice the two keys said to be rare to have two keys on dutch silver.oh my first andy warhol also, the subject matter i could live without though001.JPG010.JPG

The American Pickers sold one of those ship telegraphs for around 1,000 dollars on a show last week...cant remember exactly what they got but is was somewhere around 1,000.

I agree, both of those items are worth way more than scrap prices. Polish that brass up!

ok first thanks everyone.the guy from ny just offered me 450.00 for the horse, just from pics i sent him.going to get check first make sure its good then send it too him.im going too check into my telegraph now.best buys for me for sure.

Telegraph is a decorative repop piece. Many on eBay but few sold for much. Great job on the horse!
