Went back to a park that it out in a very backwoods part of the area. Did not find any Silver (I am convinced someone else Cherry Picked this Park), but I did manage a 1940s HUBLEY Gas Tanker Truck made in Lancaster, PA. It was buried about 6" down in sandy soil near a modern day Horseshoe Pit.

Also found 5 Wheat pennies

The rest was all clad

Marvelous gas truck! :headbang: One of my earliest thrilling finds is a red toy British petrol tanker truck from the same era -- 30's or 40's. Like yours, mine's missing a lot of paint though it still has tires. Unlike your intact vehicle, mine has a very mashed cab :BangHead: . But still one of my fave finds! HAVE FUN! Andi

That's the trouble with "cherry picking". They ALWAYS skip over and leave behind some very REAL treasures!

As evidenced by your finds.

Nice saves!
