No rings today on the beach just a Buffalo Nickle and a new Historical sign

I did not anticipate the North wind today 25 knots and a temp of 38* on a local beach i did not last long but i did find a buffalo nickle no date and some lead a few zink penny,s all falling apart, and the town placed a new sign up showing that the beach is very historical going back at least to the War of 1812 where 3 US ships sank during big storms something i did not know from that beach you can see across the Sound over to Conn. , the next big nor-Easter we get i will be down there the next day hunting . Interesting beach . Good hunting all . Jim
