I have been perusing the What Is It Forum this morning looking for replies to my find, and I noticed the "Views" stat does not update in real time. I opened and viewed 4 different threads, exited TNet, went back in, and the number of views prior to me opening them had not changed.

Is this normal or is something not working properly?

Small updates like this are queued and done in batches in the database server as it's more efficient to do them in batches then updating views on the hundreds of thousands of threads as they happen. So yes, it is normal and is meant to keep the database responding as fast as possible to other higher priority updates/requests.
