No MD but I did hit a Market of Fleas

Well due to family circumstances I could not MD yesterday, but I did get to go to a Flea Market. Not much to tell really a few guys selling Silver coins at jacked up prices, and the such. I did manage to find one table with some junk jewelery on it and after digging around for a few minutes I got a couple of sterling silver rings, which I bought for 3 bucks each. Other than that it was a dry run.

You got a great deal on the rings. You never know what you can find at a flea market if you take your time looking.

Awsome. The wife and I like Flea markets. Just remember, there is treasure everywhere. Not just in the ground. There's the old saying, one mans junk is another mans treasure. There a show on History channel called American Pickers, I think it's on Monday nights. These two guys go all over the U.S. and seach for places where you can't see the house from all the junk. They stop and see if they can buy anything for a reasonable price and then resell it. You should watch it and see how much old treasure is on top of the ground.

Yea KW I have seen that show, even tried to get a couple of buddies of mine to get into a business like that with me, you know Plundering for Fun and Profit, but no takers. They all think I am crazier than a sprayed roach anyway because I am always talking about that day I am gona find the Mother Load. It really is amazing though what you can find. I found a Military Ribbon to at the fleasmarket, i am attempting to Id it but the closest one I have found to it is from the Phillipines Campaign. According to my reading this was from 1899 to 1905 and was given by the US Army and Navy. The ribbon also has 2 oak clusters, so who ever or whatever it was got the award more than once. Anyway HH I am headed to bed i gota work tonight.
