Hello to everybody!
I bought few days ago this lovely and sweet doll.
It's a french "mannequin", a fashion doll from the middle to the end of XIX century.
I would like to understand the manufacturer who made it, the manufacturer name: Jumeau, Bru, Barrois, Gaultier or other.
Since there is no kind of marks, not even a number or a letter, it's very difficultu to me to guess who made it...
Someone can help me solving the mistery?
About the dressings: do you think are original or newer?
Thanks a lot for the help!
Roberto

Beautiful doll indeed. This might provide you with clues as to who exactly made it. (if you haven't already found this link though) Just read that Barrois wouldn't make the heads. It is probable Jumeau or Bru made it which would explain multiple names for the makers.
