no, solid. the first thing i thought was .50 bullet, but its too big and still has a very sharp point. there was the battle of memphis, civil war naval battle, but i cant find any munition that is close, besides, there is a better chance of winning the lottery than high powered bullet fired and hit something that distorts it.

looking at pics of logging pikes, i see a way it couldve been attached to a pole. it could have been welded onto a cylinder that fit over a pole.
