I found this last night and have no clue what it is? I found it under an old stone walkway next to a 1906 Church. It looks to be brass and is very ornate. I had to turn over one of the old stones to get to it. The signal was jumping from 80's to 90's on my AT Pro. I'd really like to know what is?

I don't have with me but it's about 6 inches long. It might not have anything to do with it but found a Knights Templar button close to it.

Without knowing the size, I would say handle for knife/letter opener.

I'll start with the obvious. Part of a door handle?

That's what I would assume as well... But, it being hollow like it is, maybe it's missing the cap or something that "closed" it up. Looks like a snail design.

Maybe a hand held vase for a few flowers and the round part at the bottom was a reservoir for the water. It does have a flower design on it.Or possibly part of the ornamentation on a coffin handle.
