No idea what this is

Dug this up in the yard today, it is about exactly the same diameter as a quarter. Can't tell if it is magnetic since I can't locate a magnet... Looks sorta like a flower to me that maybe was attached to something else at one time.

Reminds me of the lead bases that were on flag poles in my Grandfather's Christmas Garden (Village). He had an OLD Lionel train in the village and the flag poles stood beside the train station.

you might be on to something, it does look like the top was made to look like artifital ground.
