no idea what this is...silver?

found it in a local park at about 8 inches......I am guessing about 60 to 100 years per other targets that I have found....about four inches long

Can't help you on what it Is, I have one from a few years ago. I don't think Silver tho', I do think your about right on age.

? ? ?Yep, found one about 5 years ago.? I thought Silver at first too, But, Highly doubt it is. as Soon as the Sun comes up I'll head out & get it & try and take a pic. I Think mine is longer, but maby it's just the Pic that makes yours look smaller. It's definately not a lipstick tube, it's shaped more like a test tube. I thought mabe a Black Powder Tube.

They Shure were Big. 2 - 3/8" long & almost 3/4" wide. it is threaded inside

I've found the flattened type as pictured in the original post and a hard brass type also. Them things are big and do ring up loud.
