Found this at a spot that's yielded relics dating from the mid 1700s to today. It's broken, but the piece that broke was either straight, or rounded. There is lettering on it. What I can see looks like something indiscernible at the top, VR in the middle, and ATEN on the bottom. There could be letters missing too, but no idea. I guess first, what is it? 2) age? 3) is that all it says? You can see a dime in the background for size reference.
