Not sure about an ID on this. It's very heavy (sorry don't have a scale). Can't tell if it has been cut or if something was attached to the end. The rounded end seems to be blunt as if it were used to smash or grind something. There appears to be what look like teeth marks on the edges but may have been where the tool was attached that was used to cut it?

I just looked cause I did have a piece very similar to that.Mine was about the lengh of and size of a pack of stick chewing gum.But must be in my junk outside or the scrap yard one :icon_scratch: Anyway it was found at a early site and I always thought it was used to through in the melt pots for making things.As it was some kind of lead alloy maybe pewter cause it was a little harder then lead.If I find it I'll show you.Maybe we both can learn from it. :thumbsup:

Thats funny, Your wife must know my wife.

Can't remember the last time my wife laughed at one of my jokes, and I'm usually on the floor in stiches :laughing7:
