Shelbyville or any yard where the owner will let m
Detector(s) used
ace 250
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Me and my best buddie Lavonso hit an older school in our
hometown in Winchester, Ky for a couple of hours yesterday
me with the ace 250 and him with his bounty hunter really
racked up on the dimes, between the two of us we found
25 of them, me 13, him 12.
The strange thing was other than the dimes only two other
coins where found, a clad quarter and this 1867-1967 quarter
from Canada.
No pennies on a school ground, unbelievable !!! :icon_scratch:
When I pulled it out of the plug I thought maybe a barber
or a Washington Silver quarter, until I saw the animal on
the back, then I thought, oh great, a darn token !!
Anyways the pics are of the quarter, we all know what clad
dimes look like, right ?
Is this quarter pure silver or just 40 % silver ?
Thanks for looking !!
By the way, what do you think about my new avatar ?

Nice finds. A lot of dimes. I usually find more pennys than anything else. Congrats. HH.....

Allen, I believe your coin is .8000 silver and should weigh 5.8319 grams.
