Thanks for sharing! Getting out and having fun is why I dig! Good luck!

Cheers rich:occasion14:....getting out is what counts...treasure is a bonus !! I've cleaned out my spots rich....im down to tiny stud earrings, and earring backs now. Time to go to the next spot and try !!

Sometimes what looks like "trash" on the screen....isn't always....And so, if it makes noise...dig it ! (these emeralds were in the same hole as iron pieces) On the Treasure coast ! :)097.JPG

Thanks bart! I completely agree with you. Time for me to try some new spots as well, there are so many places around here. Parking is the problem like just about anywhere you go in FL.

Thanks RTR! I dig everything but have not really looked for the gems except when I was at Palm Beach Shores trip. I need to be looking here as well.

Nice breeze and some clouds down here in south Florida made it nice to walk the beach nice finds

I like to hunt,it,s in my blood whether it,s a game animal or an inanimate object, the hunt is what matters to me.I,m a curious guy and I enjoy what I see in my hunts too.Of course a couple of big fat gold rings wouldn,t make me mad!

Thanks Mark! Hopefully the storm will mix things up a little around here down where you are.

Agree with you crashbandicoot! I grew up hunting and fishing all my life and the hunt is what matters to me as well. Just started metal detecting several months ago and I feel the same way about a metal detecting hunt. Good luck to you on your hunts!
