No.1 Field - Oat Stubble - Day 5...

On my own today, so returned to the No.1 Field hoping to see it ploughed but it was not. So spent 4 hours working on rock hard ground with cemented in stubble, & I mostly stuck to the tyre tracks.
I still did OK:

Rose Farthing
Broken Jetton
Broken worn Will III Sixpence
4 Scrappies
A 17th C Token from London (1 I need)
Henry VI circa 1440s Halfpenny.

"Hope for a better tomorrow" I like that, as I have had about 2 weeks (4-5 hunts) of nothing much, such is hunting. It is not gathering. Especially when explorong new sites.

Well it is always nice when one can add something to one's collection, so in that regard it was a good day for you.

I'm still a little amazed at those tiny thin silvers, not knowing anything about them except for looking at the ones you post.

Cheers, they are tiny & silver, thats why they XP loves them. Tomorrow will be a Roman Site, so not much silver.
