First really nice Saturday here in the tristate - so.... garage sales. Picked up lots of treasures. My favorite is A pre kohloshnik Russian silver wedding band - $1.00. Nice pile of 14k for next to nothing. The horses are silver plated but i thought they were sterling. Paid 8.00 and was very disappointed. Made up for by the large 16g 14k men's ring - which was sold as "broken" for a quarter. The white gold and diamond ring we picked up a while ago but just found out its a pink sapphire and not a rubelite. Obviously exciting. Th ed stick pin is 14k / diamond. Paid 10.00 on that one. The Scottish agate piece is confusing - 19th century design, but the hallmarks are wrong and the clasp was replaced. Thanks for looking.

I'd love to find a ring like that once a week. Outstanding!

Awesome finds! I bet it feels great to get out again after the winter this year!

Nice buys. Thanks for sharing...

Wow.. clearly I've been paying too much for "broken" jewelry. Awesome finds!

Nice pm's randazzo. I wish I could find more gold down here. Unfortunately, there are a couple dozen that go around searching for gold only around here. They start calling and emailing people the minute their listings hit the paper or CL, not to mention they go knocking on doors days before the sales actually start. I just can't bring myself to that level. Greedy, savage, animals I tell you.
