NiMH Rechargeable

I have an Ace 250 (4 x AA batteries) and want to use rechargeables in the machine....any issues with using these instead of 'normal' alkaline?

i use them all the time in my detectors.i use the nine volt ones too in my tesoros.

I use them exclusively (except for in the Excalibur - not enough juice per battery per pod) and won't ever go back. I use 2500 mAh batteries and a 15 minute charger. Everytime I go out I charge the batteries up and it only takes about 15 minutes for 8 batteries because I never let them completely deplete before recharging. I don't want to buy batteries all the time and don't think thowing used batteries in a land fill is very good for the ground. Not a treehugger, but I do drink water.
