So yesterday morning I woke up thinking it was Friday. “Finally! Playing at the new permission tomorrow!” Nope...it was only Thursday. Ended up with pretty much no motivation to work and severe ADD lol After work, I came home determined to finish the work I needed to get done. Kids, dishes, load of laundry, cleaning up...check, check, check, and check. Ok, time to sit and do my work. Finished up one task and about half way through the next, hubby come in with the new toy! Oh yea! He says “hey, come outside and I’ll show you how it works.” 
So out to the front yard we go. Since the speakers on my old Discovery 1000 crapped out, he felt bad and wanted me to have a better detector. I don’t like the Garrett he has and was just going to use the headphones with the Discovery, but he insisted on a better detector for me. So he was showing me all of the buttons and features (I’m all about having the least amount of buttons as possible and prefer simple things, so I was a bit intimidated) and we started swinging in the front yard. Hmm...constant 92 in this spot...lets dig it! Then I was like, nah, I need to get back in and finish my work. Sitting in the couch trying to do a medical contract, that 92 was haunting me. ADD kicked in again. Around 8:30...hubby says, ”hey, let’s go dig the front yard!” Out I went! Hit the 92 spot and up came a quarter and pennies! Ooo I like this! “Just one more spot, it’s starting to drizzle”...other quarter! Ok ok I have to go work....about 9:30....”hey, rain stopped...wanna go dig again?” Another quarter and a few more lawn mower victim pennies! LOL Nothing old or special but I do believe I’m going to enjoy my new toy! And luckily, I got to a point with the contract to where I can’t finish it without making some calls from the office anyways lol Hoping for some awesome finds tomorrow since TODAY is really finally Friday!
