Decided to try my luck in the dense iron bed of the seated field. As many of you know this was one of the best sites anyone could ever hope to find. Close to two dozen seated silvers, trimes, countless early nickels and well over 100 indians. Dont hunt it much anymore but it will never be hunted out with all the iron thats in there. Usually dont find much anymore but did ok tonight. War nickel was found last night on another site

Some nice oldies. Probable have asked you this before, but do you know what the site was used for.

Fairgrounds/horsetrack 1870s and 80s horsetrack till WWII

Well done! 🙌 That one IH should clean up pretty nice.

That is an Awesome site to hunt you have there. Good job and hope you find plenty more goodies. :hello2:

Congrats on some very nice finds!

I'd love to give that site a go with my Deus. I've got a place loaded with iron that still gives up coins. I'm waiting for them to plow it to get ready for next year.
Nice finds
