The details on the buffalo nickel look good. Is that a silver or regular 1942 nickel?
 

Hmm I'll have to check I thought all 42-45s were silver if not Ill need to double check.

Forgot to post it but the bottom left in the pic is a - BELGIUM 1951 1 FRANC COIN
 

All 1943-45s are (except Henning counterfeits) but some 1942s aren't. They are 35% silver if there is a large mint mark above the dome of Monticello on the back. If there is no mint mark there, they are regular nickels (no silver).
 

I just found a 42 with no mint. Never seen one before, are they worth more than 5¢??

Generally no. Possibly sell for tiny premium on feebay but you really want to see that huge mint mark over the dome. HH

I think mine is a regular 42 I didn't see a noticeable mint mark on the back... Oh well was still an interesting experiment.
