Nickel Box #2,3,4,5 Pics added!

Haven't posted here for a while. I've searched through 4 boxes of Nickels in first 2 weeks of 2012. The volume is somewhat small, if compared to the volume some hunters do here. Banks here don't have a lot of CWR on hand. Here are the finds: Bullion .999 nickel: approximately 6 pounds

Box 1:
1959, 1961, 1959, 1961, 1968, 1980, 1982, 1989, 1991.
US nickels: 1947,1958D, 1963D, 1983P error, 2009P

Box 2:
1960, 1961 (2), 1962, 1967,1991 (3), 1986, 2000P (2), 2001P(MS state)

International: Republica de Cuba 10 centavos and also a coin that I could not identify. Maybe you, guys will help me out.

Box 3:
1940, 1949, 1954, 1961, 1962(2), 1979, 1984, 1991(2), 1996
From full roll of US nickels: 1961D, 1970S.

International: 1 peseta Spain 1980

Box 4:
1944, 1960, 1961(2), 1962(2), 1968, 1991(2), 2001 PL, 1949, 1965AU, 2000P(3)
US nickels: 1963D

International: Bahamas 5 cents

You didn't find any 1963s or 1964s? That would be one weird box for me if I didn't find and nickels with those dates on them. Would you mind posting a picture of the error coin you mentioned. I would like to know what type of error.

Canadian Guy, I found about 10 1964 in each box and about 7 of 1963, I just mention, all the coin before 1963 (aka pre 1950 us nickels). I also state the error coins, AU/BU finds and 1991, 1970, 2000P coins + international. All other nickel dates go under bullion. I will post the error of US nickel tomorrow.

Probably because they are pure nickel and have gotten picked up by the magnets inn the machines.

So Canadian Hunter do you keep your 1982-2000 copper nickel as bullion. Their intrinsic value is very close to their face value but with todays prices they aren't valued over face.

Thanks Immy, I appreciate your help. I couldn't identify that coin even though did some research.
Canadian Guy, no I only keep pure nickel nickels. I don't think 75% copper nickels will be in demand, because to extract pure nickel there should be a refining process done. For .999 nickel, this step can be skipped - saves time and money.
BuffaloBoy, you are getting only 1982-2001 nickels, because the magnet in US coin counters, pulls steel and nickel composition nickels. That means you are more likely to find coins from 1982 to 2001 period, and if lucky, a tombac issue of 1942-44.

Well I had a similar question back in July. Would an American or Canadian bank(that has branches throughout the US such as TD) sell boxes of American coins to me, a Canadian. I had my best tellers and branch managers check for me and no dice so far. I've done some research on the topic and found it would be possible for a dealer (up here in Canada) to order American coins but the steps required to accomplish such would be so painstaking and expensive (from what I found) you might as well just take a road trip across the border to get the coins. I haven't checked with RBC yet but they generally aren't very friendly.
So long story short if you want a box of Canadian coins come and visit this fine country.
