nick name for metal detector

hi every one just wondering if any one has a nick name for their metal detector.
my sixteen year old daughter named mine the bling machine. my 5 and 9 year old call it the beeper.

"Dangit" seems to be the general pet name....since I find myself saying "Come on Dangit" alot

AMEN !!! Deepdigger ,I just bought my ace 250 and I hope that it works when it is cold too not like my wife which only works when she warmed up or batteries are ful.
Thank goodness she doesn't read this forum(YET).

Geez, Porkepork thats like asking us if we talk to ourselves while detecting. Put that to a poll someone. But yes, I do call mine Stupid. Like after digging a tabless poptop at five inches I say "whats this, Stupid, you said silver dime at two inches.

Mine is Baby Doll, she always does her job great its just the loose nut swinger her that can`t get it right. I just have to keep telling myself i need the exercise so all these holes i dig are worth it.

And before any of u say it, No i don`t sleep with her, she patiently hangs on the wall making strange lil cooing sounds at me. Remembers must turn her off and recharge batteries.

metal detecting is the only hobby where you spend $1,500 to find 3 cents

True BillGent I have four good detectors probably $2700 total plus diggers and other necessities and and I am happy as a kid at christmas when i find a penny.
