Not saying your wrong, I have found 4 or 5 of those things and have told people that thats what they are, And a couple have called me an out right
idiot. And I am calling them that becouse thats what I was told that they

They should have a name and pat date around the bottom.

Nice Model T valve stem cover. I found one a year ago and thought it was a lipstick cover. I salvaged it from the junk pile after someone told me what it was!
Yours is in much better shape, BTW.
