Lead Ingots.
Chopped up some scrap lead recently- melted it- tipped the old pot, let it cool- brushed out the dross- melted it again, and poured into the new type silicone ice cube trays! Please do this under supervision of an Adult film star- and WATER is your ENEMY when working with LEAD!
It looks much cooler in real life than the pics. They display stuff really nice on glass!
Here's what I needed
The cube trays I used- were real cheap- they failed- the more rubbery the better- but I had them sitting in DRY patching plaster so the shape stayed!
Next time I am going to embed a paper clip to display an odd shaped relic.
