Look at you go Albert....you are always comming up with the good stuff.....lol. Not sure about your UNCAS but it does look like it has some age to it.

Great finds,
gregd

Uncas, a company that primarily made only rings, though a few brooches were occasionally made.

very nice ring hey i found some of those clad things with the rotorcuo type balljoint thingy like the one in your 1st pic what is that?

Love that silver ring TC! :notworthy:
Is this old thimble made of brass? :icon_scratch:
Looks to me like it might be restorable? :-\

Can you make out what it says around the star on the side, below the eagle? I have my father's USAF ring from about 50 years ago and it looks nothing like yours, so, I'm figuring older than that. The brass hose nozzles are cool......those are still made today, exactly like those, and I remember them when I was a very small kid.......they last forever!

Thanks yall. On the ring around the star it says United States Air force, Not sure what Item your talking about smugpot. The gas Valve?

yes thats it thats what i thought it was i have found them before they hit kinda large on the beep but i dig it all

You are right Albert, Sept. 12, 1947 is when the Air Force came into operation. The stone looks like Aquamarine. Very cool, how many grams is it?

Looks like you at it again. Nice finds. The ring is nice no matter what it is. Congradulations.....

12.48 Grams, the stone is pretty cloud, So i figure is fake

The ring is from the late 40's.
Even after the birth of the USAF it was still consider Aircorp till the late forties.
Chuck
