Thurs got to do a little coin roll hunting.
Bank 1 box 1 skunk
Bank 2 box 2 skunk.
Bank 3 teller tray, I see a silver rim of a quarter next to 3 really cruddy quarters at the very bottom of her tray.I ask for them and with a smile ( I Thought I saw fangs)the young nice teller gives them up for a crisp new one dollar bill.I put them in my pocket smiling on the inside as this would be my first silver quarter teller tray find.At the car i pull out the quarters I had just gotten and found 2 quarters with bubble gum on them and one was so worn and scratched up I couldn't even pass it at McDonald's. And as for my silver quarter It was a clad from the friendly neighbors up North.
I can see her now huddled around the water cooler telling the other sniper tellers how she got the bad coin roll hunter. It is OK because the really nice teller next to you gave up a 40% the same day.And don't worry when I bring doughnuts to the really nice teller ill tell her not to share and only bring 2.
Happy Hunting,
I hope you did better than me this week.

Its the teller's fault that the silver looking and cruddy coins were not silver? You asked for 4 specific quarters and she obliged. Sorry she couldn't magically turn them into silver for you.

My nice teller story this week is a little better. Wednesday I got a phone call from a teller saying that she had a lady come in and sell her $90 in halves and asked if I wanted them. I told her I would be right down. When I got the rolls, they were all labeled with years on thema bunch of stuff from the 70s. Well, all except 1. It was labeled "60s" I opened it and there were 17 40%ers and 1 90%. The other 2 were 71 clad. Not a bad haul for a day that I didn't have any CRH scheduled. That teller gets presents this year.
