The weather was great. Another snow storm tomorrow so I went for a hike to a cellar hole spot that I knew the grass would be down. I got some decent relics but happy I got 4 large coppers and 2 silvers. I got 1832 Nova Scotia half penny,1835 ships colonies commerce token, 1893 Canada large cent,1903 Canada large cent, 1902 Canada silver five cent and a 1914 Canada silver five cent. The pictures don't do them justice. Thanks for looking and don't mind the still dirty fingers! [emoji2]

Congrats. Some nice finds. I found an old Canadian silver 5 cent piece down near Okeechobee, Florida several years ago. Go figure! How it got there would be a good story if it could talk. They are really small coins.

Glad you were able to get out! Congratualtions on the cool finds! :occasion14:

nice finds

That area looks rugged ,but a great place to hunt. When those VICTORIA coins are found you know that site has some age to it.

There are multiple unexplored foundation spots left like that one in the area. They are a good walk in between each other though. Your right they are all very rugged but doable. Now and early spring are the only time worth going because they grow in so bad. The buggers that lived around there must have been tough! [emoji2]

That broken spoon looks like William Page & Co Birmingham silver plate c1880s by the marks

That cellar hole spot is hot .nice finds!

Great to see you out and making some finds!
I'm keeping my snow shovel where I'd like to be keeping my spade....thankfully good times will be back sooner rather than later

I'm going to pay the price for such a nice day. Temps going from +5 down to -11 tonight and 25-35cm snow coming tomorrow. Yikes! [emoji30]

Only 15-20 for me! lol
Once I get my car out I may get to the shore sometime this week, I found a stretch at a river mouth on a drive this afternoon begging for a look!

Nice finds there K1DD0. That place looks familiar.

Did you and Rick come out Peggy's cove way the other day for your hunt? Man those pictures on his post looked familiar! [emoji2]

Thanks. I just wish I had more time to go out when the weather is good. I'm so busy with work and kids that I try to make my trip spot count to have a good chance of some old finds! I'm always asking or keeping a eye out for any good spot nearby. One of the worst things for me is I have great virgin old spots to hunt that are too far away to get because I'm always stuck close to home and work most of the year! [emoji30]
