Nice silver " something "

I posted this a few weeks ago on today's finds, but never got a solid answer, so I thought I'd try again. I've seen so many different items being identified, there is always hope. Thanks in advance if anyone has seen this before..

Maybe the top of a cosmetic case.

Because of its small size, I was thinking that it might be a snuff box lid. Also since it does not have a small lip to help it open, it may be the squeeze type. I do not think it was mass produced, so it may be had to find another item ‘just like it’.

My wild guess pocket watch? If anyone has an old TOC Sears Roebuck catalog they had many in there. Could search for this design. Here is one page as an example. But could be any of the above suggestions.
