I originally gained permission in this field to hunt a long forgotten branch line of the local railroad. An 1877 map had it ending in this field with an accompanying station. Never had much luck finding anything other than a few indians there so I had moved on to another part of the field where I found an awsome colonial site. Not finding much there anymore but I did give the area where I thought the station could’ve been another try tonight and came away with the sweet Philadelphia Wilmington and Baltimore lockplate with a patent date of 1869
