Since I moved down to Cape Cod, and NOT being a beach hunter, I have found it nearly impossible to find any decent, non-permission-required places to hunt. My better half showed me this small park in the next town over, and it's probably about 150 or so years old. I've been to it twice and have found an 1853 Seated dime and 1882 Indian on those trips. I had a short window on Father's Day between the rain and family coming over, so I snuck out there for a couple of hours.
Signals were few, but I did manage a couple of keepers. An 1881 Indian, very badly corroded to the point it looks like junk and this 1847 LC. It has great detail, but just a light wipe shows me that if I attempt to clean it, I'll probably lose the rest of the detail. It's in pretty nice shape though as the pics will show.
