Nice morning for a walking creek

Perfect morning in southwest Missouri for creek hunting. Light rain cool found some rocks at first spot. Going to keep at it most of the day. Going to update after every spot.

2nd spot of day all broken couple heart breakers. I believe Calf Creek top left first picture and Dalton far right of 2nd picture. 3rd pic is one of my favorite spots does not give up many but when it does they are smokers. Probably 12 or so in the 10 years I have hunted it. This Afton in picture 4 and 5 came from it.

Yes it’s wing was sticking up from the gravel. It looks like it is made to go on a mail box or door. But not sure going to check it out later.

Here is a couple more strange rocks I found today. I don’t know if they are artifacts or just rocks. I am not real sure what their use would have been. But the one with hole fits perfectly in hand hole facing down and bowl up and facing you. It seem to have places where your fingers rest. The other one was extremely out of place compared to any rocks in the area and shaped like nothing in area.

Moark you are about 2 hours away. I am about 25 miles east of Springfield.
