Bought a box of string dimes and then went across the street to another bank and got another $100 in dimes. Found 3 silver Roosevelts. My first silver finds in dimes. I may start working these more.

Awesome find!

Was this the first box you've ever searched?

Happy Hunting!

Used to be a time when they thought you crazy to search dimes. Nowadays, everyone's crazy!

Nice score! The Loomis boxes I buy have those rolls. Most of those boxes are coming in full of new 2011 dimes lately.

I have 2 boxes of halves and 2 "boxes" of dimes coming. My Credit Union said "we do the dimes ourselves, how do you want them, rolled or loose?"....music to my ears

"I wouldn't want you guys to roll them if I am just going to break them apart anyway, I'll take them loose." was my reply.

I pick them up on Thrusday. Searching them loose is better than tearing off that paper cover. Just reach in the bag, grab a handful, line them up and look at the rims...then do a quick date search and throw them back in another bag.
