Went to the thrift store yesterday looking for an old school cassette recorder that I needed for something. Didn't find a working one but I did find a nice set of crystal stemware. I recognized them because I just sold another set in the same pattern a few months ago. Anyway I got a set of 6 Mikasa Park Lane wine glasses for $14.99. I sold the last set for $119.99 BIN w free shipping in the first few days of listing them.

Yes good eye is correct. I wouldn't have known they were so valuable. I learned something, thanks for posting.

Hey Diggumup! Looking out for these in the past I thought I had found a set. When I went to list them I couldn't find any that were 6-1/2 high, turns out mine were Cristal D'arque in the "Bretagne" pattern. Not worth near what the Mikasa sells for. I hate when that happens!

I have a vtg. Dictaphone #125 sitting here and ready to go for you. Send me your address in a pm and it will be shipped out priority mail tomorrow. It's the least I can do.

Thanks for the offer. No worries on the cassette player though. I found one I had in storage, old boombox lol.

That is my wedding pattern, I have about tumblers, water glasses, iced tea glasses, champagne saucers...I'm wondering if my husband will notice if some of them disappear. We used 2 on our anniversary last June. I would definitely prefer a few hundred $$$.

No kidding! That crystal can bring that much. I looked at a set of 6 maybe 8 ? Mikasa stems with grey labels I'm thinking last weekend and passed on them. I'll bet their still there. I better go see. Do you think selling individuals would do any better? I don't pick crystal without a acid etched mark generally unless it's a true piece of antique American brilliant cut in good shape.
